So all of you KNOW I love kitties!
Well, I haven't had one because my mom kept saying no..
BUT NOW I HAVE ONE.
It's a persian! I am not exactly sure which kind. But here is her adorablness!

I am definitely going to be taking MANY more photos!
Her name is Buttercup and she is 9 weeks old.
We got her for free! Along with tons of other stuff.

She looks big for 9 weeks and being a kitten, but don't let her fool you.
She is all fur!
And she is an attention whore.
She doesn't like to be held but she will lay on my desk and just soak up all the attention.

I stayed the night at my friends house and she got onto this site called Suddenly Darling.

Let’s get down to the nitty gritty. Tell me about the real you.

How did you come up with the idea and the name for Miss Needle Beetle?

Well my nickname growing up was ladybug. I wanted my business name to have something to do with that but also incorporate sewing.

What’s your most favorite item in your shop?

Oh so hard to choose. I enjoy everything that I make and try to let the fabric be the guide for what item it wants to become. I will say that I really like the I'll fly away fabric.

How did you start with the idea of making your various Snack Sack Sets?

Well Austin is a very green city. Being green is natural to most of us. Once I had a child I realized how much gets wasted on a daily basis. Reusable bags are one less thing to throw away. People think they can't make a difference but they can. If everyone could pick one thing to reduce on a regular basis it would make a global difference.

To you, what’s the process of coming up with a new design for clutchs?

The fabric. The pattern or texture of the fabric leads me to an idea. Does it need to be small or large. Does it need to be straight or have some curve to it. I really look to fabric for inspiration.

After all this time of having an Etsy shop open, what have you learned?

Be patient. You are not going to make money overnight. Do what you love and if you do it well then success will follow.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor? (My favorite too!)

If you went into an airport and were given the choice to go anywhere in the world, where would your destination be?

Scotland. Love a man with a brogue.

What’s the most important advice you have for someone?

Don't take life too serious. Make the time to laugh everyday.

On your wish list, what’s your prime favorite ?

Laser hair removal. Oh to never have to shave my legs again.

'I like to be organized and having clutter around drives me crazy. For years, I kept my tampons in a pretty floral box on the back of my toilet. Growing up, I shared a bathroom with my little brother... and always wanted to be discreet during "that time." Most girls just get those tampon boxes out...and announce to the world from their floors, towel racks and toilet tanks, that Aunt Flo is in town. I thought to myself..."Why don't we have something close by, where we need it...when we need it?"

I invented the Tbox so every girl can have their tampons stored within reach in a clean, convenient spot. Girls have crazy lives--the Tbox company is about simplifying a girl's life.

My Choice

Amanda, a friend of Molly, asked me to review the Tbox. I never heard of it and I figured that a lot of my readers have never heard of it either! I read everything on her site, watched all their commercials, and learned that it was a discreet tampon holder that has two suction cups to be attached to the side of your toilet. Creative, right? It can hold up to 8 applicator tampons discreetly, if you chose the discreet models! Since I wanted to get rid of my tampon/pad box, just like how Molly did, and not have my boyfriend asking what the thing on the toilet was, I asked for an all white one. When I received it, which came very quickly and undamaged, I opened it up like a little kid on Christmas. Even though it's a tampon item and not meant for fun, for me it was like a toy. I ran the suction cups under water, like the directions say to, wiped it off all the way, and placed it on my toilet. I stared at it, giggled, and then ran for my tampon box. I had so much fun placing all my tampons in it! Now, I have those super small tampons, so I can fit a BUNCH in. But for normal size applicator tampons, 8 is sufficient without damaging them. I closed the lid, heard the click, opened it up, and shut it again. I liked that click. It assured me that it was safely shut.

My Journal

Day 1: For the most part of the day, I kept forgetting to use the Tbox. I am so bad when it comes to remembering things like that! The last time I went to the restroom, I remembered that I had it, and it was so easy! I was a little nervous about me being horribly dumb to using it, but it was quite simple. I just pushed the button, grabbed my tampon, and shut it. Easy!

Day 2: In the morning, I was super tired and forgot to bring with me a tampon. I was about to walk out the door but then I remembered, I have my tbox! Click, grab, click. Done :) (I was at school for quite some time.) Coming home, I excused myself and went to the restroom. Click, grab, click. Done. That time, I said it out loud because I was so entertained by how easy it is!

Day 3: Click, grab, click. Done. This morning went by a lot smoother because I wasn't being aggravated that I forgot my tampon. I knew that I could rely on my Tbox. Since the only way it is attached to the toilet is by suction cups, it would be difficult to push the button all the way to get it to open, which is what I have been doing this entire time. But it clicked on Day 3 that you barely push in and pull down. Wow. It just got easier! (I refilled it when I got home from school, I was so happy with neatly they all fit and the lid could still close even when I stuffed it!)

Day 4: Click, grab, click. Done. All day I did this. And sometimes when I had to use the restroom to go potty, I still opened and closed it because I did find it fun. (I get easily amused.)

Day 5: I only had to use it twice and the last time I used it I said good bye. I was sad that I wouldn't get to push the button and click it close. Good bye Tbox, until next month...

Overall

The Tbox was simply amazing and easy to use. It got rid of my 'drawer' and I no longer have to carry a tampon with me every time I use the restroom. My boyfriend STILL does not know that it is there and he has to be so nosy when it comes to those type of things. I'm surprised he hasn't found it! I love the look of it and the way it clicks when I close it :)

The Eyeshadows:

Let me start off by saying that I am not a big heavy make up user. I do use eyeshadow but I usually only use kinds that are either natural tone colors or colors that can be blended very well. And let me say that I absolutely ADORE PURELY PLEASURES. I can easily put the colors on, using a tiny bit, and blend it.
It actually blends! It doesn't just come off in huge clumps and then sit there looking blotchy and too dark. It blends if you want it to :) Or, if you prefer the darker look, just apply a second layer and WALLAH. It's darker :) Easy to take off but doesn't wear off during the day.
They were all of a soft texture and feel completely comfortable.

Ingredients:
Mica, Titanium, Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Magnesium Stearate

Innocence, #17, probably is one of my favorite eyeshadows at the moment. I love the fact that on my eyes it's only just a smidge darker than my natural skin color and it barely stands out. But then it has the sparkle within it. It definitely makes my eyes twinkle! Love it. Looks almost gold when you don't blend it but when you do, it's just a nice back coating for another color.

Ingredients:
Mica, Iron Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate

Insatiable, #39, I was hesitant about getting this one because it seemed so dark. It turned out that it was sparkles :D With just a little bit of a natural undertone. I've been wearing this almost every single day layered on top of Innocence or Tricky. Great combinations! It's a great color if you just want some sparkle for your eyes.

Ingredients:
Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Tin Oxide, Magnesium Stearate

Stormy Skies, #23. Now this one you need to be careful with. I thought that it would turn out like Insatiable where it had a darker tint and it would be mostly sparkles but this was definitely made for Smoky Eyes. Which I don't mind at all, I definitely want to test smoky eyes. Just sayin', be careful! I do love the silver color though and the sparkles within it :)

Ingredients:
Mica, Titanium Oxide, Carmine, Iron Oxide, Boron Nitride, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate
Rachface, #16. Loooove this color! It makes my eyes look extra deep blue and I definitely don't mind making this one a little heavier on my eyes. Love it! This is a must have in any make up collection! It has a sparkle, just like all the others, but this one stands out definitely more. The first day I wore it, I got compliments all day! Definitely a must. (I had fun blending this one in various ways.)

Ingredients:
Mica, Titanium Oxide, Iron Oxide, Magnesium Stearate
What can I say about Tricky, #6,... AMAZING. This makes my eyes a deep blue and is truly a classic beautiful shade. Yellow to me can sometimes seem a little much but this one is just more of a cream color. I usually do this one as a base and then put my own personal pink shade over it. Blends really nicely!

I would have to say this is the good stuff :)

Love Those Lips

Hey Girly Girls! I wanted to talk to you all about lips. Lips? Lips. I love my lips. I used to hate them so much because they used to be cracked all the time and absolutely horrendous. But once I learned that the only way for me to love them was to actually take care of them, I learned a few tricks of the trade. I also recently came upon some new info so I hope this helps!

Biggest thing I can say is to drink water. Water hydrates the body. When you are hydrating the body, your lips are the last to get the water. So drink lots! And you should be drinking it for normal reasons anyways!

The Go Go's.

☺Drink lots of water! Fuller and plump!

☺Use vaseline on your lips while you sleep as night.

☺Use warm milk as a moisturizer. It's amazing!

☺Remember to protect your lips as well from the sun. You have no idea how damaged they can become from the sun.

☺Treating your lips at night is always best!

☺Eating lots of fruits and veggies can help greatly!

The No No's.

☹Don't use cheap smelly chapsticks. I've had it happen time and time again. You use them, you get chapped.
☹Try not to use colors that contrast with your skin color. Lighter colors bring out the natural features in you.
☹Do not use Carmex. It started with me using it constantly and it working at first. I got addicted to the feeling of the softness. And thennn I stopped using it for one day. My lips cracked and it was horrible. They actually have the tiniest bits of glass within it and what happens is that instead of adding moisture, it sucks all the moisture that's already in your lips and pulls it out to the top. Horrible. Happened to my mom as well.
☹Biting lips = Bad
☹Don't lick your lips!
☹Avoid pursing your lips a lot. Smoking, drinking through a straw, and other motions can wrinkle and strain those beautiful lips!
☹Watch what you drink! Alcohol dehydrates your body which means it also dehydrates your lips fast!

My eyes are weird. I am not saying that they change colors but they do have a mind of their own.
Depending on the lighting, the weather, and what I am wearing, my eyes can range from the darkest blue ever to a little grey. They have got some personality issues.

So, I have figured out which colors make my eyes do what and these are my personal favorites eyes:

I love my natural eye color and when I wear no eyeshadow is when they look their prettiest, especially on cloudy days.

So I am sure that everyone knows that if you wear a certain eyeshadow color, your eye color will appear different to other people. I have known this for a long time but I keep forgetting which colors look good with grey/blue eyes. I figured I would share it with all of you. Enjoy :)

Make Your Eyes Dreamy

Look closely at your eye pigments in natural light, take one of the colors and use that as an eyeshadow. It makes it personalized and makes your eyes look FABULOUS. I tried it and it looks amazing.

Grey Eyes

The Do's:
Charcoals
Mocha browns
Violet purples (Always soft purples)

The Don'ts:
Light browns - It can make them look almost blue and not bring out the beautiful grey

I suggest never using colors too dark if you have a dark eye color.
And never use bright colors if your eyes are light, it doesn't contrast them like eyeshadow should.

Blue Eyes

The Do's:
Earth-tones (Browns w/ a little purple, taupe, slate, colored grays.)
Rose or a light pink make your eyes look like a deeper blue (Expirement with fuschia and turquoise to see if your complexion looks good with it.)
Brown eyeliner
Metallic colors!
The smoky eyeshadow effect.

The Don'ts:
ANYTHING BLUE - I know this from experience. Blue eyeliner makes your eyes look glazed over and boring. Blue eyeshadow darkens out your pigments and it looks like you have the darkest bluest eyes ever, doesn't sound as awesome as you might think.
I suggest never using colors too dark if you have a dark eye color.
And never use bright colors if your eyes are light, it doesn't contrast them like eyeshadow should.

Brown Eyes

The Do's:
Green tones
Pink colors
Blue's
If you have gold flecks, use something with shimmer.

Green/Hazel Eyes

The Do's:
Purples!
Warmer browns
Colors with orange undertones
An extremely pastel light green.

(Expirement with lime-green and bright purples. Make sure they compare well with your complexion.)

The Don'ts:
Dark colors. If you have a mixture of brown and green, you want to use light eyeshadows to emphasize the green in your eyes. Dark colors will just bring out the rich brown.

I hope everyone has heard of CSN stores. And if you haven't, where on earth have you been?

A couple of weeks ago I had my long time best friend Courtney over!

We walked to subway, got a drink at subway, and made funny faces and sounds about 99.99% of the time. In admist of all of the fun, we stopped by a thrift store. I got myself a lace top and I saw a hat. A hat? A black hat with flowers. It was the same price as the shirt and I knew I would rather have the shirt than the hat. So I put it down reluctantly.
Courtney swooped it up and was like, you want it with that duck face I just love. I did my weird awkward face that makes her laugh and said yes. And that was the day I got this amazing hat!!

This bracelet is hand beaded by the lovely Miss. Shandi herself and it is used with heavy duty stretch cord so it doesn't break with the first pull. It's of great quality and I even put it to the test.
I have a weird habit of tugging on all of my bracelets right before I wear them... If they break, I frown and throw a little fit and then string them onto my cord. It happens a lot with all of my bracelets but hers didn't do that! Not at all :) I was very pleased!
Now please keep in mind that my wrists are extremely dainty! And that all bracelets are big on me. If you feel as though the bracelets would be big on yours too, I'm pretty sure you can request to get it adjusted. Just sayin'.

'Out of the Blue Jewelry is a fun, feminine and affordable line of vintage inspired jewelry created by designer Jerin Scott in her small, but much loved, home studio. Headbands are the one accessory I can't go without. Wanna know something weird? If I don't have a headband on, I feel a little bald. And then I love floral patterns and vintage items so when you combine all three, something magical happens. So as you may have already guessed, CreativeMandie's headbands are magical. Yes I said it, magical. Not DisneyLand magical, but Christmas Day magical. It's a weird feeling to have towards a headband, but hey. Don't judge.

So Mandie agreed to do a giveaway and a review with me so I got all giggly because I was getting another headband to my headband collection! Wanna see? I would have tons more of headbands but I sleep with them on, which usually breaks them. I broke my favorite color :( Oh well, I have a brand new one that is way cuter to replace it!

She asked me which headband I would be interested in reviewing and I instantly knew. The floral headband with vintage buttons! It's red and blue, has a floral pattern, looked really comfy, and it had vintage buttons! Here is the beauty she sent me.

Don't you just love the way she wrapped the fabric around the band? I love it so much! Here are a couple of reasons why I love this headband SO much.

The buttons. They are not the same colors but yet they go together so perfectly! And I liked how she stacked them just a little bit.
The fabric she used goes with almost every outfit I ever put on. LOVE IT.
The flower look but yet it's not a flower. It's definitely grown up enough for me to wear but it could be a kid headband too.
How comfortable it is! All of you headband-wearing people out there, have you ever put on a headband and within 5 minutes it feels like it is digging into your brain? I know that feeling. But this headband doesn't it do that to you! It can sit there all day and you would forget that it's even there! You don't have to constantly move it and try make it comfortable for your noggin'.
No glue bumps. I've had friends make headbands for me and although they were cute and I loved them because they were made by someone special, they just used glue and the glue hurt my head or it would snag a few strands of my hair. Her headbands don't have those awful glue snatchers so you can stick it in your hair without worrying about whether or not you are going to have your hair ripped out when you take it off.
No weird scents. 'Chandler, what the heck are you talking about?' I've bought some fabric headbands and had some pretty weird scents come off of them from glue, being in a package too long, or from the fabric. No weird scents off of this baby!

Most comfortable headband I have ever worn. Love it!

I would definitely spend some good pennies in this etsy shop!

(Names Taviasanza. Such a beautiful name!) I am juggling a day job at a mosaic studio in Manhattan, Etsy, and night classes for design programs. I am incapable of staying in one medium I make large scale installations as well as jewelry, you can find them on my website. I started the lasercut stuff because I loved the quality of the Plexiglas and the futuristic element. One month at a time, all of them, or the more business like three months out at a time. But I decided to stack them and place them on my armor. There is this little divet on the top that is perfect to keep them standing up without having to damage them! The sheets are very strong so they are perfectly fine to stand up by themselves without slouching horribly. I love it!
And I will not be keeping this calender because I am a hoarder, but because it's too cute to toss! Love it!

I am a graphic designer and untrained illustrator from a small town in Ohio. In Geauga county, to be exact.
I started my Etsy shop to sell jewelry holders, but being a graphic designer, I LOVE all things print. About the Lady Behind These Cute Nails!

Kate, 23, a Makeup Artist and arts-n-crafter. Started doing nail art about 6 months ago when I got fed up of the limited designs offered at nail salons (Flowers, lines and dots oh YAY). Bought a whoooole bunch of nail polish and supplies and with a little practice nail art was super easy and I could do whatever I want! Soon after (and much money spent) I needed to find a better way to put all this stuff to use and started painting glue-on sets with nails from the beauty supply for a friend. She got tons of compliments and at the same time had just found Etsy.com and decided to open my own store!

Information about the Nails

The nail set comes with 20 acrylic nail tips in 10 sizes. The sizes include 1-10, 1 being the smallest and 10 being the largest. You can tell which nails are which sizes by looking at the underside of the nail, they are numbered on the bottom of the tip. These nails have strong tips and a flexible base to adhere well to your natural nail bed, and can be filed down to fit perfectly.

These nails can be worn temporarily with adhesive nail tabs for 1 to 2 days (and can be worn again after removing the adhesive tabs.) Or you can apply them semi-permanently with nail glue for up to 7 days.

Tell us about yourself. :)

My name is Karen. I live in Michigan, and I can not say that the city nor state has any particular influence on my inspiration, but the weather and the changing seasons here definitely does. I love that every three or four months, we are in for a change. That inspires me.

I am married and have three incredible boys, all who are very talented and wise in their own individual ways. They are there to help me create new flavor ideas, and also to test each and every lip balm recipe out first. Their feedback has been most helpful in this process They are very honest!

My husband is definitely my muse. He encourages and inspires me to pursue my creative impulses and ideas. He is why Get Lippy came to life. Without his support and ideas, she (meaning Lippy) may have been one of those great ideas that get put up on the shelf for and undetermined amount of time.

What are your hobbies besides making delicious lip balm?

I have a list of hobbies, and they are ever changing! I love to spend time with my family, paint, draw, sew (although my sewing is nothing to be desired!), make hand made journals, making Get Lippy of course!, read, and listening to really good music. Although there never seems to be enough time for it all! Really, for me, I get a lot of satisfaction creating with my hands. Then seeing the end result in a physical form. And hopefully being able to use it or display it afterwards. I love it.

What do you mean by your saying 'Make Peace With Your Body'?

'Make Peace With Your Body' is our philosophy, so to speak.

I was introduced to Yoga last year, and fell in love with it. Instantly. It changed me. Physically and mentally. I continued my practice of Yoga at home as well, and it had a trickle down affect on me. I had taken on a new outlook on the way I treated my body, internally and externally. I felt more conscious of what I was eating

and how I treated myself. To make a long story short, I have ALWAYS used lip balm. No exaggeration here. My husband and I were having a discussion about using healthier, more natural products, and Get Lippy was born from that 'idea' We wanted to make peace with our bodies. Become healthier all around. Do something nice for ourselves, and I don't mean in a material way. In a loving way. No matter how big or small, and in fact, I believe it IS the small things that we do that count! Such as using a natural, good smelling lip balm!

Who is 'Lippy'?

The mermaid on the label is "Lippy". The label was designed by my husband, who is incredibly talented and creative. My husband and I both love art nouveau, and the mermaid is linked back to a more 'personal' story, but is very symbolic for the both of us. When he put everything together, it just worked for us, and the mermaid gave life to "Get Lippy".

When did you start making lip balms?

I started making lip balms last summer. Life had thrown us an unexpected series of twists last summer. Heavy ones. We decided to take a long trip up North for the weekend, my husband and I. I guess sometimes in the middle of all of life's craziness, from left field, a really good idea can be born. The idea of lip balm started out as just 'talk' on the drive up to our destination. The drive home, days later, consisted of 'ok, what do we order first?'.

There is more to me making these lip balms, then just 'oh we had a good idea'. I tried a LOT of different recipes. Made a HUGE mess, time and time again. But I did not stop until I found the consistency that i absolutely LOVED. If it wasn't the right texture, etc. for me, then I was not going to stop until I could truly say 'I LOVE IT!'. I LOVE it. I love making these balms, and I want to branch out to perfume oils, lotion and soap. It truly is just a lot of fun, and I really like the whole process of it! I just really hope and want others to enjoy them as well.

What's your favorite scent?

My favorite scent is......that really is a hard one.

Lime.

And Butterscotch.

Lime is scented, with no flavor. It is so smooth, and seriously refreshing. Someone requested Lime, so I made it for her. I ended up loving it! More than I had expected to! Butterscotch is scented, and it has a subtle flavor. Oh, I love that one too! It's a tie!

What ingredients can be found in your lip balms?

I use the following ingredients in my Get Lippy:

Beeswax, Aloe Butter, Mango Butter, Soy Butter

Castor Oil, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil

Flavor Oil (in some), Essential Oil (in some)

I am open to flavor/scent requests as well!

The Review

The Peaches and Cream
She sent me two Peaches and Cream, which smell so delicious that it makes me want to eat the entire tube every time I put it on my lips.When it makes you not only want to use it but eat it, you know you have some good stuff on your hands. Besides being scrumptious, it's honestly some good hydrating lip balm. My lips feel replenished and smoothen out. I've always had a problem with my lips because they are always dry and cracked. Always peeling and just being absolutely gross. But this little stick has helped so much. Thank you so much for sending me it! I will definitely be investing my money into your lip balm!

The Grape
She also sent me a tube of grape but sadly I haven't used it yet because I know if I open it, I won't want to put it down and then I will have over 15 open tubes in my bag. So when I finally get to it, I will definitely let you know about it! (It does smell great though!)
Also, I really like grape when I have a craving for chocolate, weird quirk, I know. So I will definitely be saving that one for my cravings. Haha.

Overall? Stop using all other kinds and get this one :)

She lives in the London; which is where I am guessing that she gets all of her inspiration from! When you first go to her etsy site, you will notice that she does not have that many items. It's because she is brand new! DUH! But when you take a closer look at the products themselves, you will see the detailed craftsmanship and how much work must have been put into them!

The hearts package has 5 tags in it and all of them are of different colors. My package included the colors: Red, pink, green, light blue, and dark blue. The colors are perfect because you have some for girls and you have some for boys. Perfect! Lori Bug's Closet caught my eye not because of how affordable her items are, but the fact that she has steampunk jewelry AND homemade soap. If you have both of those, then you have got to be awesome! So I looked at her items and saw how intricate and beautiful her jewelry is. And then I took a good look at her soap and got hungry. Yeah, it looked that good! Haha.

So I immediately clicked on that contact button and sent her a message asking her to do a giveaway with me. And you know what she said? Yes!! And it's a good thing she did because you guys will love her soap! And love the details of her jewelry!

When she sent it, I was just expecting two pieces of jewelry and two pieces of soap. But you want to know what she sent? So I decided to keep the two small bar of the Milk Chocolate Buttercream and Almond Oil Soap and the small bar of Wintermint Goatsmilk Soap. Both were scrumptious and my skin has never felt better. I tried the Milk Chocolate Buttercream and Almond Oil Soap on my left arm and when I first whiped it on my skin, real flakes of cocoa came off and the aroma filled my shower. I immediately flipped the bar over because I didn't want to use all of the cocoa flakes in one shower. So I kept rubbing the soap on my arm and my skin felt so fresh and soft. After washing the soap off it was squeeky clean but at the same time, my skin felt a little bit more hydrated. It definitely made my arm feel softer!

Then I used the Wintermint Goatsmilk Soap on right arm and that made my arm tingle, in a good way! Why may you ask? Because the Goatsmilk Soap had real flakes of peppermint on it. How refreshing is that? It didn't make my arm any softer or dryer but it sure did make my arm feel clean and that put me in a better mood. It's a great way to start the day off when your arm smells of peppermints!

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Lori Cancio and am a happily married newlywed of less than a year, which has significantly cut down on my time for jewelry and soapmaking but I'm trying to make some more "me" time. My hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, cooking, travel-most recently just got back from Cuba.

What influences your creativity on they way you make your necklaces?

Pieces and parts of objects. Looking at the way things are constructed. Making something out of something else.

What are your necklaces made out of?

Many are made out of "carmelized" or "antiqued brass" I also use watch parts and pieces, tiny charms, glass beads, and paper. I use lucite to collage and seal items in a setting.

What makes your pieces of jewelry so special?

Mainly that no two are exactly alike. Each evolves as its own process and the pieces fit together differently each time.

Out of all of the jewelry you own, what is your most favorite?

Strangely enough though I make alot of jewelry I am not a huge wearer of jewelry. I guess my favorite piece would be an antique diamond ring that was my mother's and holds alot of sentimental value. That and of course my wedding rings!!

How do you make your soap bars and what are they made out of?

I make 2 types of soap. A cold process mix of vegetable oils such as olive oil, coconut, avocado, almond etc. Some have goats milk and herbs inside or as a "garnish".

What scent have you just been dying to make one of your soap bars out of?

My best friend has requested vanilla buttercream. Since her birthday is coming in January-I guess I'm going to have to get going on that one.

What's one item that is on the top of your wishlist right now?

Honestly there's really nothing that I "need". I do love to trade with other Etsy shop owners and find all sorts of wonderful things that way. Anyone who is interested should join the trade a holics group or send me a convo.

I am a sucker for handmade cards. I love the details and the passion that is put into each one. And I also love that the card is one of a kind. Makes you feel special when you get one like that :) Which is why when Jennifer from The Fold said yes to do a review with me, I started to get that special feeling! We arranged for her to send me a one of a kind Bleeding Love card and when I opened the package, I just got so giddy! You could just tell that she put a lot of effort into the card! And I can't appreciate that work enough!

When I first opened the package, which she had a cardboard piece in there to keep the card from bending, my first reaction was for me to sit there and stroke the card, which I did. I felt how it bumped out and I just started at it for a while. After a nice minute of staring, I adored over the cute white heart. I opened it up and I like that it had a white side for me to write whatever I wanted. I'm not a big fan of cards that come with stuff pre-written on the inside. It seems to make the card less special and personal to the person you are giving it to.

So I then went back to the texture of the card. (I just couldn't get over the feeling!)

After doing my usual girly girl moment that I do when I open packages, I thought about what it was for. I hoped that it was a review I was doing with it and not a giveaway. How could I give this amazing card up? I couldn't. And I wouldn't. Okay, maybe I would if she told me to but come on, in the moment I was fearless.

So I got on the computer to tell her that I got the card and told her it was simply amazing. Brooke from Oregon Jewelry agreed to a review and a giveaway with me and boy am I happy he did! The jewelry is absolutely beautiful. He sent me five items and said that I could do whatever I wanted with it. Keep all of it, give it all away. That was such a hard decision!

I just wanted to say that his shops has got to be one of my favorites, all time. He was so nice and he was offering to send me so many pieces of his jewelry. And his jewelry was so pretty and beautiful, I figured there had to be a catch, maybe it was all cheap? I feel completely bad for even thinking that! Everything he has is 100% original and is of the highest quality. I put the ring on and my heart just melted. Completely comfortable and very pretty design work. The bracelets are classy but very beautiful. The earrings, oh my goodness. The earrings were classy and had so much elegance to them. I definitely could see myself wearing them a lot! I opened the bracelets and instantly put them both on while slowly moving my wrist from side to side. Such clean work! And after seeing all of those items and squeeling like a little girl, I opened the last one and I was speechless. The hair barrette was just.. amazing. I immediately tried to put it in my hair. I was doing it wrong, of course, so all of my hair start to fall out from it. (I am such a loser.) So I guess I will have to start practicing on that one!

The Arrival
When I first opened it, I was just thinking 'Shoot, now I gotta go get some cocoa. Dang it. I don't want to drive just to get some.' So I figured I would just be a little bit lazy and put it off for a now. So this morning I was craving strawberries but I hate biting into them because then they get stuck in my braces so I came to the conclusion of making a smoothie. And then I decided no because it was too cold. Wait a second... I have my coffee cozie! So I ran upstairs, grabbed my cup, and slipped the cozie onto it. The cozie even stretched a little bit to fit my oversized cup. And it didn't keep falling off like some others my mom has gotten. So I poured some smoothie and put it to the real test. Would I feel the coldness through the hand knitted cozie? And guess what. I enjoyed it without my hands freezing to death!
